Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981 and a member of SSC's Board of Directors since the year 2011 she was one of the original co-artistic directors for Speech of Fire. As the Artistic Director for SSC she also was the company's producer costume/set designer composer/music director and text coach. The last year of her tenure, she was a director and lighting designer for SSC's King Lear. She had been the director of the ensemble but in this the year that she made her directorial debut. Markie Post......................Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBC's sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABC's drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBS's sitcom Hearts Afire. Apart from acting, she's also been part of several games shows. Daughter of the poet Marylee Post and scientist Richard F. Post she was raised with two siblings at Walnut Creek. Las Lomas High School in Los Angeles was her high school that she chose to attend. She was a cheerleader. She went to Pomona College for a short period of time, and later graduated from Lewis & Clark College, both located in Oregon. On a personal note Post was previously engaged with Stephen Knox. Since 1982 she has been married to actor cum writer Michael A. Ross with whom they have two children. Post's performance as an mother, wife, and actress is admired by many.
